Charles R. and Leah Verity Hook - March 31, 1913 to January 2, 1958
1913 was a life changing year for Charles Ruffin Hook. In March, he purchased eight lots from Middletown Realty and hired G.C. Burroughs of Cincinnati to design and build a home. In October, Charles married Leah Verity. By February of 1914 they had moved into their new home in the Highlands. By the end of 1914 they had welcomed their first of 3 children.
